Dr. Michael Robles is the Chief Medical Officer of Outreach Pathology at American Pathology Partners. Dr. Robles co-founded Alliance Health Sciences in 2011, consisting of two laboratories: Cytology Associates and Alliance Diagnostics. At Alliance Diagnostics Dr. Robles served as the Director of Women’s Health. Prior to this venture, Dr. Robles was both the Managing Director and Director of GI Diagnostics at AmeriPath North Texas from 2005 to 2010.
Dr. Robles graduated from the UMDNJ-SOM and entered residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of California, Irvine and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. After residency, Dr. Robles completed a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Robles was the first Robert E. Petras Fellow in gastrointestinal pathology. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology and Fellow of College of American Pathology. Dr. Robles holds memberships in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society.
