Partners (APP) is a nationwide network of leading anatomic
pathology laboratories serving phycisian offices, hospitals and surgery
centers.
Founded in early 2008 by laboratory professionals, Ed Dooling and Thanasis Papaioanu, along with hospital veterans, Marty Rash and Bob Yeager, APP created a new and innovative operating model where pathologists are valued partners and hospitals are as important as the outpatient community.
Our passion is superior patient care. We strive to accomplish this by helping clinicians provide the best treatments possible to their patients. This means providing treating physcians and their staff accurate, definitive and informative diagnoses, rapid turnaround times, and superior service levels.
Our laboratories are staffed with well-trained, dedicated personnel, are equiped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, and employ sophisticated operating processes and rigorous quality controls.
Our pathologist partners are highly trained, board-certified phycisians with subspecialty expertise in several areas, including surgical pathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology, hemato- pathology, urologic pathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, nephropathology, pediatric and perinatal pathology, and molecular diagnostics. But unlike many other laboratories, our pathologists are independent and free to practice laboratory medicine in a manner they believe is most appropriate.
